    Richdale Apartments is a national leader in luxury apartment management, with residential communities that boast immaculate surroundings and a carefree and upscale lifestyle is seeking an experienced Estimator to perform estimate take-offs and develop RFPs for subcontracts associated with proposals and bids for general construction.



    • Work with drawings, specifications, supplier quotations, engineering standards, and other information to provide material take-offs and cost estimates.
    • Make various calculations such of strength of materials, weights, simple forces and stresses.
    • Consult with partners, vendors, and other departmental personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
    • Uses discretionary judgment to approve change orders and approves construction progress.
    • Analyzes various design requirements and recommends possible solutions or alternate construction systems.
    • Create AutoCAD drawings



    • Minimum 1 - 2 years college or trade school education in mechanical drawing or related areas with a minimum of 5 years estimating experience. 
    • The ability to move from design concept to finished designs, including layouts and tolerance valuations and ability to create detailed drawings. 
    • Good working knowledge of construction processes and planning.
    • The ability to provide conceptual and detailed estimates on a variety of multi-family and commercial projects.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD with basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening)
    • Great attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills are a must!
    • Cost Estimating Order of magnitude thru detailed budgeting is a plus!
