Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Helpdesk & Application Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a dual role: providing first-level IT support to employees and managing Yardi-related reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with strong technical skills, a customer service mindset, and experience working with Yardi, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Forms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network, and access problems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, escalating when needed.
  • Manage IT support tickets, track progress, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and permissions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, issues, and resolutions.
  • Generate and maintain reports in Yardi to support operations, finance, and management.
  • Build and optimize custom reports using SQL queries.
  • Design and publish dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
  • Collect and organize data using Microsoft Forms and other tools to support reporting needs.
  • Partner with business units to understand reporting requirements and deliver accurate solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support/helpdesk or a similar technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with Yardi software or any other related software (reporting).
  • Strong skills in SQL (query writing, data extraction).
  • Proficiency with Power BI for creating dashboards and visual reports.
  • Experience using Microsoft Forms and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Experience with MS 365 and Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
